I am a senior at Maine South High School, and currently a first degree black belt here at Chung's Tae Kwon Do.  I have been a student at Chung's for almost eight years and I have been teaching for almost six months.  Besides Tae Kwon Do I have also been studying Hap Ki Do. I have also slowly been trying to learn Ju Jitsu and wrestling techniques.

 

The greatest reward from teaching for me, is that I am able to interact with different people who posses different skills.  It's also rewarding when students value my input and come to me with their questions and problems.

 

Throughout my time as an instructor at Chung's Tae Kwon Do, the things that have kept me motivated and focused are the students' drive to learn. For now my plan is to continue with Tae Kwon Do, finish my senior year, and attend a good law school.  I will make an effort to keep studying Tae Kwon Do throughout my schooling.
